Hi Guys,
Especially for Dave, In Essex that's SE GB there is a roundabout that is a big island in the middle with 5 small ones around the outside. If you want to
go straight over, you can go right around the outside clockwise but say you want to turn right you go clockwise around your first small one anti-clock around the middle and then clockwise round the one you want to go on, on your way, frightens the hell out of a lot of people, especially during rush hour.
Stay safe Alan.

Indeed.
https://youtu.be/Kafx_GGHqVgIt's potentially crazy.. There's a 'spoken' order, as opposed to the 'unspoken' order that constitutes the roundabout of the Arc De Triomphe.
It is intersting though.. You can choose whether you want to go clockwise or anti-clockwise around a roundabout.. And in which way.. Do you want to go clockwise/anti-clockwiss as straight as you can, or around the outside?

Hi Guys,
Actually when you first come across it it's a bit frightening, but believe me after you get used to it, it actually works very well. A friend of ours that was staying for a week and wanted to go to church on the Sunday, got close to the roundabouts, chickened out turned around and came back to me and could I take him, the church was the other side of the roundabout, he didn't hear the end of that for a while.
Take care Alan.

That's a lot of traffic lights for such a small road though.

i saw them in movies but here in USA they ran in revere and i just pulled over and watched it work
the first one for me was in Colorado Springs CO near the Broadmore Hotel
and it startled me as i had never seen one in the USA
glad i saw that one work as a few months later i found myself in a school bus going around in one..
