Does anyone here use a bluetooth headset for GPS and/or phone communication? If so, which one do you use and with what helmet? Or do you prefer a wired headset. Just bought a Zumo 660 and would like to find out what works with it.
Thanks.
David.
P.S Shortlist so far
1/ BT Interphone to try out then an Autocom system (off Ebay) later
2/ Scala (not sure which one yet-best one depending on price)

not used a cell phone...on the bike
but 2meter ham radio i always used a home made setup with a micro switch on the left handle bar
and mounted on bottom so it can be worked with the thumb
i have not used the radio on the bike in several years as the number of cars on the road here
is very high ..and i do not like the distraction of the radio

I'm using a BT interphone, bought cheaply off ebay. Mostley because it came with a boom mike as I use an openface helmet.
I also like the fact that it is vox operated, and doesn't need a seperate switch to operate. It also has the facility to be paired with another interphone as an intercom.
- bt interphone on helmet
- close up
The only fault I can find with it is the attachment clamp is a bit flimsy, so its now attached with velcro

I find it quite clear, but then again I pull over to take the call, so wind noise isn't too much of a problem.

I intend to use it connected to my sat nav so calls are not an issue. just need to know if you can hear it clearly at motorway speeds...

That helmet is quite noisy, consiquently I don't use the bluetooth on the motorway, just around town on my daily commute.
