MZ/MuZ Riders

I picked up my latest toy today - a 1967 Yamaha TD1C 250. I raced this bike as a classic bike nearly 30 years ago and I'm delighted to be reunited with it. look forward to getting her on track soon

i had a 305cc ym1 6 years till i switched to BMW in 1971 then in 2002 to mz

Very smart, looks great. You going to be racing or parading her ? We had Reg Everett along to our club three years ago, (Brooklands VMCC) to give us a talk. He brought one of his old Yamaha racers with him and we took it up to the members' bar where he was giving the talk

I'll parade this year and maybe renew my race licence next year. It hasn't run for about 8 years so I want to pull the engine apart and refresh the seals etc.

I'd 3 good seasons on it with quite a few wins before the Suzuki T20s began to get faster It'll be great to get back in the saddle but not aiming to replicate 30 years ago . I'll probably parade it at Donington in August http://www.donington-park.co.uk/events/ ... 058/#event
