Thinking about selling, anyone interested

Postby Islander » Thu Jun 03, 2004 12:50 pm

I am thinking of selling the following 2004 MZ Black Panther. This Bike is brand new with under 100 KM registered on the odometer. I was going to keep this one and sell the other, but I am thinking of keeping the VTX now. I would like to get $5500.00 for the bike. If interested Email me at bullseye10@cox.net

Nice bike... I wish I had the cash. If I hit the lottery you will be the first person I contact so I can buy it.

BTW- I sold 2 Hondas just so I could get 1 Baghira!

If you don't mind me asking, what did you get your bike for.
By the way, I too had a 2003 Honda XR650L. When I decided to try a street moto style, I looked into the mods for the Honda. It was about $1200-1500 just for the wheels, then you had to buy the tires, then there was a front brake mod. On top of the $5500 for the bike, I was looking at probably over $7000 complete. It was cheaper to buy the new Panther all done and with a two year warranty. Just food for thought. Thanks for the compliment on the bike.

Sorry bro I just saw your post.

You mean the Hondas? $2600 for the Shadow & $1200 for the XL350

No I was talking about the MZ, but you already answered in the other forum. Been reading about the problem you had. That sucks, hope everything worked out.

All better now. Ya that was a bit of a challenge but with the info from these fine folks it was more of a learning experience. Still love the bike  Wouldn't mind another!

My 2003 Street-Moto was $4500 on eBay. Havn't seen another steal like that one. Would you take payments? It looks sooooo bad in Black!

I would like to be able to finance that for you but unfortunately, I cannot. Shoot a price around $5k and you could be thumping on a bad black machine. Then you could give the yellow street moto that you have to your girlfriend now that you broke it in for her. (Hope she doesn't read this)

That's cool too. Just figured that you would take the newer one. That bubble shield that you have on looks awfully like an old style helmet shield.

gee...what tipped you off? i didn't want to alter the lines of the bike too much. this sheild is strong, transparent and had 5 good contact points on the headlight shroud for rivet points. it looked ok when i held it up so i riveted in place. i didn't know what to expect on the highway without initial testing but it proved itself worthy...and stayed on! the redesign will be a snap-on deal for the occasional trip.
