has 11 months tax. this bike has been owned by me for the last 7 years possibly more. currently has personalised plate J44 LUN this will be taken off or can be retained if anyone want thsi approx £250 for the plate...
anyway back to the bike... has respoked front wheel with stainless steel polished spokes, also has a BSM vampire exhaust system with removalbe baffle, also have a BSM future end can to go with the sale... front end has been modified the original bars / framework has been removed to give a cleaner nicer look, also the original speedo has been removed, and a custom box with the indicator / neutral lights, main beam lights. fitted. the speedo is now a cycle speedo which has proven to be more accurate than the original mz speedo, and the milage on the speedo has been altered to reflect the original mz speedo. the original speedo and dash can easily be refitted as i have not cut anything off the loom just made a new plug...all m.o.t.s to verify true mileage.
The front mudguard has also been replaced with a smaller xtx 660x supermoto mudgaurd genuine yamaha painted in black.
Has a rear rack with a givi base plate that may be removed.. topbox may be included in price or negotiated in deal. has been used 2 up with my daughter on back numerous times with good comfort...
Also has trailtech front bash guard in aluminium, and a set of very nice silver WRP fat bars, and athe WRP black CNC clamps..the rear has been modified to accept a motrax l.e.d. rear light unit.. and a bracket has been made to support the rear indicators.. also has a locking petrol cap...
also has a nice small bar end mirror which provides much better visibility than the original mirrors.. original mirrors are here to be included..
front forks have recently been recently overhauled to inlcude new seals, and dust seals.. genuine marzocchi items, and at the same time i sprayed the fork legs silver..
Sliders fitted to all axles
Has all original parts to go with the bike... this inlcudes all the front framework. speedo, and original very good condition mz mudguard. and the rear mudguard tali piece. also have handguards, and fork slider to be with purchase..
there may be other things i have forgotten about but will update if i think of them.
ohh yes has had a nearly new front disk fitted from a R1.. this is a 10 bobbin disk.. and is much stronger than the original 6 bobbin rattly mz item..
ohh yeah new chain and sprockets fitted in 2010 before i went to isle of man... also have a new bigger sprocket to be included for wheely action... i cant wheely it though... !!!!
ohhh yeah has a scottoiler fitted..!!!!
ohhh yeah has KTM rad guards fitted... genuine KTM...
ohh yeah new clutch cable
ohh yeah new gear rubber, and tighten up tolerances with new bushes
ohh yeah new grips...
this bike has been well looked after has been used through a lot of winters, but has no obvious signs of corrosion...be sorry to see it go but looking for a KTM 950 SM
has never let me down, and was used 2 years ago to take to the isle of man TT 2010.. kept up with my mates on fazer 1000's, and a GSX 1400 no problem
being picky and real honest here the only downsides to it are ....
the seat has a small tear which i have covered with a patch hardly noticable, the rear pillion pegs could do with a rub down and repaint, and the rear wheel needs a real good polishing.. these will get done if it doesnt sell...
always draws loads of attention at bike meets...
bike is based in south wales NP13 area... cash only no money no ride... have a local guy offered me £1500 already so wont be taking much less than i am asking
