ETZ125 - 12 Months MOT - Blyth Northumberland

For sale is my trusty ETZ125,
Its an F-reg in black with front disk, oil pump and rev-counter. It has just passed an MOT with no advisories, I can't see anything wrong with it mechanically but the paintwork is a little tatty. I have painted it myself in the past but unfortunately painting isn't my strong point. The Chrome isn't up to much on this, the exhaust is pitted and has surface rust on it, the handlebars are rusted and the rear 'cissy bar' is a bit rusty too. I may have a replacement cissy bar and exhaust but the handlebars I don't have.
The wheels are the spoked type, not alloys. Front Disk has loads and loads of life left, its actually not far off new thickness, strangely the solid disk has a hole drilled right through it which comes in very handy for disk locks which wouldn't normally fit this type of disk.
Has a good battery fitted, one of the 'Service free' (sealed) types, probably only a year old (can't quite remember).
Importantly, it has optically triggered electronic ignition, which works beautifully, as its a system I designed and built myself (i'm an electronics engineer). Also still has the points fitted which you can use at the flick of a switch. Engine starts and runs first or second kick.
Clocks are showing an astronomical 65,000 miles, however its actually only on about 15,000 as some oik smashed the glass in the speedo so I replaced it with one from an ETZ251 which had just about been round the world!
Comes with a box full of spares, various good engine bits including barrel, pistons, crank etc etc.
The bike is in Blyth, northumberland and I welcome anyone to come and view it, pop over for a cuppa and a natter if you like.
No tax on it as I'm no longer insured on it.
I've not set a price currently as I don't know what its worth so feel free to make offers. I'll upload some photo's later when i'm not at work.
Thanks, Dave.
