Bike is a 95 SilverStar, great shape except for the exhaust system. The PO had what looks like Harley Sportster muffler welded-on to the original head pipe; muffler is in okay shape, but the weld joint and original header pipe is pretty rusty. I have emailed several chrome shops about re-plating the pipe and muffler as an assembly, but have received no responses so far. So, if anyone has a lead on a good shop where I can get the pipe/muffler rechromed as an assembly, or has a replacement head pipe in good shape, I'd be very interested. Here's what I have:
