Dragami Games, the developer of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, has confirmed that the game will soon receive a photo mode. The feature, which will be included in an upcoming update, adds to the list of bonus content and activities in the remastered version of the 2012 hack-and-slash game.

Released in September 2024, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP brings players back to the quirky and violent world of Juliet Starling, complete with enhanced graphics and gameplay improvements. This remaster introduces the cult classic to a new generation, preserving its original engaging story and satisfying combat mechanics. The upcoming addition of a photo mode is designed to enhance the experience, allowing players to capture their adventures within the game's candy-colored, chaotic world.

Though Dragami Games has not specified an exact release date for the photo mode, the update is expected "soon." The news follows the release of an update earlier in December that introduced new content and bug fixes. The photo mode will join other quality-of-life improvements in Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, which include faster load times, updated combat mechanics, and the ability to reduce the violence level for players who prefer a less graphic experience. Customization plays a significant role in the game, with 30 costumes, four new chainsaws, and new hair color options for Juliet.
