While I remember, if anyone is looking for an alternative to using paddock stands I'd recommend an Abba Stand. I bought this stand two or three years back after I got fed up fighting with the usual paddock stands. It's a one man operation and very stable. As the bike is lifted by the swing arm pivot you can raise the front clear of the ground by using a jack and block of wood under the sump or exhaust headers. I've used the stand on all sorts of bike and never had a problem.
They don’t list a set of adaptors for the MZ, however I measured my stand up against my bike and if you give them a call and ask for Steve, he can supply the fittings for our bikes. You will need the stand, standard adaptor set and two 10mm pins.
It works a treat on the SF and I'll try and post some pictures as soon as I have a chance.
You can find them at http://www.abbastands.co.uk/
btw I have no connection with the company, I'm just a happy customer
