My 94 Silver Star has had a problem due to the crank pulley coming loose earlier in its life and wearing the crankshaft end slightly out of round. My mechanic in Fort Worth was able to replace the pulley and secure it to the crank well enough to have run acceptably for almost 20,000 kilometers, but now it is getting noisy and there is play in the crank shaft. I am considering pulling it apart for repair as it seems like a fairly simple engine, although I have not done anything this extensive before. If anyone has suggestions, I would like to hear from you. Thanks in advance.
