GOLD Fren Ceramic Carbon front brake pads

Postby BRAAAP ! » Fri Feb 20, 2009 6:24 am

Hello all,

Has anyone had any experience of GOLD Fren. CERAMIC CARBON pads ?, found some on ebay and thought I might give them a try, I have used standard pads (EBC FA177's) in the past, ok but lacking a bit of real bite...

see :- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0301346797

Or does anyone know if you can get compatible EBC Sintered pads or the like ?

Cheers

Ed.

I bought two versions off Ebay, The S3 compound and the AD compound. both "type 105" which is their model number. I have the S3 versions on there now, work fine, noticeable? I dunno, I swap 21 and 17 wheels a bit so probably didn't know to notice the difference between FA177 and the S3? just my $0.02. They were an incredible bargain at like $20 shipped. I bought a bunch of them and sold a couple pair to a buddy too.
