Baggi will not start

Hi
Rode my 2001 Baggi to work yesterday. When I left it would not start. Lights worked so the battery looked good, all fuses OK. Total silence from the starter button. I am thinking a problem with the starter relay or maybe a bad connection.

Before I get out the electrical tester anyone have any knowledge of likely weak spots to start with?

as starter relay is under seat and all wires are in easy reach,check for feed there first,sorry but cant recall the colour but theres only two on soleniod.

Have had a look at the relay, no power to it but will operate if I jump power to it. So starter relay OK. Don't seem to have any power at the starter switch. andy ideas?

Looking at my PDF wiring diagram the feed to the starter switch looks to come from something called the "stop relay" (no.19). Anyone know what this is and where to find it?

Check out the neutral switch , if the bike thinks that it is in gear and the stand is down then it will not let the bike start unless the clutch is pulled in.

relay 19 is too small ground green wire if no start check red/white and red/black for voltage
one should have 12volts present
i had to replace relay 19 on my rt125

Check the connections in the headstock, just at the front of the headstock tube in the box'ish bit at the front, mine used to cut out and it turned out to be corrosion of the terminals. . .

mine turned out the be where the ignition switch connects to the loom. The red wire has corroded in the multi block connector. . .

Thanks for all your ideas.

I have managed to trace the fault to relay 19. If I jump between R/B and R/W (as suggested in a previous post) it works.

Should I replace relay 19 or just by pass it (and all the "safety" features) permanently?

What have other people done?

replace it a rely from a auto parts supply will work just need a bigger spade on the green wire

Thanks for all your info.
Thought I'd give you a final update.
Turned out the relay was OK and the problem was a poor connection on the green wire. Only spotted it because when I pulled off the green connection and reconnected it I felt the relay click.

Have cleaned up all the connections and now back working fine.

The relay is attached to the side of the sub-frame behind the battery and the left side panel.
I can get to mine under the seat and without removing the side panel
