BTW,
I have found a quick release tank cap without a lock that fits the Skorpion tank:


you can buy it undrilled and drill it like the original, the outside diameter is correct.

Great stuff on our Blog - keep it coming. I thought you had retired the Blog given the infrequent postings. Regarding the fuel cap are they available through you or some other source? I've been looking at them for years and trying to find a replacement. A one time a friend had a Magni Moto Guzzi (one of the few in the US) and we interchanged the locking cap portion but that the only thing that I've seen thats's close.

No risk of overheating ?

Strangely the fans seem to switch on from time to time on my Skorp, and before I replaced them with working ones the bike would allmost reach the boiling point, timing and jetting spot on.

On the other hand my SRX (with oil cooler) never displays any overheating tendencies, not even back when I was running a full fairing on the thing.

my green sport, more or less finished (for the time being).















most of the intial problems seem to be solved now.

I have fitted a Camloc fastener for the tank




and a Camloc quick fastener for the seat




1/4 turn with the screwdriver releases the whole seat faring.

as the ori in my traveller does not open and close to well
and i am making a custom tank for a old bmw and it would work there as well

You need to order the Aero 400 undrilled.
Simple enuf then to use the original as a pattern to drill.
