Wheel Weights (Skorpion only)

With a special thanks to Bill J. for providing the weights of various wheels that would fit on the Skorpion a few year back I spent a bit of time in the garage with my bathroom scale last night with various wheels that I've collected over the last few years. Hope these help anyone who could use the info.

Approximate wheel weight’s (weighted on a bathroom scale so these are not very accurate, say +/- 0.5 lbs but this will give you a relative idea)

Rear (with tire, brake disk, bearings, sprocket – ready to install)

MuZ Skorpion Sport (4”x17”) with new BT 45 140/70 42 lbs
MuZ Replica (Marchisi 5”x17”) with 160/60 racing slick 33 lbs
1997 Honda CBR 600 F3 (5”x17”) with 160/60 street tire 34 lbs

Rear (w/o bearings, crush drive, sprocket, tire, brake disk)

1989 TZ250 (Race only 4.5”x17”- no crush drive on this type) 11 lbs
1995 YZF 600r (Thundercat 5”x17”) 15 lbs

Front (w/o bearings, tire, brake disk)

1989 TZ250 (Race only 3.5”x17”) 10 lbs
1995 YZF 600r (Thundercat 3.5”x17”) 12 lbs
