Baghira flasher wiring

Postby Uncle Nick » Mon Jun 30, 2025 8:02 am

Hi all, sorry but I’m after more advice.

I’m looking to replace the flashers / indicator units on my 2002 Baghira.
The ones I’ve bought are sequential leds with a built in controller circuit.
So they need a constant 12v to operate, rather than the on/off from the flasher relay (which I now won’t need).
Is there an easy way to adapt the wiring?
Thanks.

SOLVED - After posting my previous message, I had a bit of a think about how the flasher / indicator circuit actually works, and I got the idea that simply connecting the flasher relay 12v+ supply and output wires together, so bypassing the relay altogether, would give a steady supply to the existing indicator cables.
I tried it and it works.
If only everything in life (and on this bike expecially) could be so simple!
