Hi,
on the continued theme of baghira perfection. I had a little play last night with my gear lever, as i found the action a little vague to say the least.
what i did was completely remove the gear lever, and squash up the bracket on the frame with a longer bolt and some penny washer i now have a lever that is a very tight fit in the frame. i also altered the point at which the lever goes in to the gearbox and made it more of a 12.00 position.. seems a little better.
what i wanted to know, has anyone successfully fitted a better lever setup i.e. get rid of all the linkage / clevis pins and bolt straight to the gearbox output shaft. seems as though all the linkages and folding arrangement makes for a lot of play in the lever...
I know this has been covered in the scorpion but has this been done on baghira ?
Also the fold back lever on mine appears worn and gives a more vague feeling to the change, can this be changed for something solid....
xt660 setup could be an option.. may require some bending of the lever though
Any ideas ?????
