Baghira battery

There has been much written recently about fitting a more powerful battery to the Baghira. I have just fitted a YTX14-BS (12ah) battery to my `02 Baggy and can confirm that it does fit into the space designed for the "weedy" 9ah original. The only slight adjustment that had to be made is to the battery strap fixing posts that are positioned at the bottom of the battery tray, these posts had to be knocked out slightly to let the bigger battery sit fully down into the tray ,once the side panels were removed there is no problem with access to these posts.

The battery i fitted was a £40 Dynavolt maintenance free unit.
