Baghira rear caliper

Postby m4panther » Tue May 31, 2011 2:49 am

need some advice. I have a hand vacuum bleeder and I cant get Grimcrapper to bleed. I keep getting a steady stream of air bubbles and there's no resistance when pumping the brake peddle. I pulled air bubbles through it for 2 hours. Is this thing leaking? does anyone know what I can replace it with or where I can get a seal kit??

have you tried syringing the fluid from the nipple to the master cylinder instead, assuming all was well with the brake at the start, this way the air ends up in the resevoir.

so easily amused  ,not sure what you mean by caliper puck, but fluid belongs inside system so if you have bubbles outside then must be a leak, good luck, cheers.

What I ended up doing was i blew the puck/piston out with an air compressor. cleaned it, removed the seals lubed them and put'em back in, pressed everything back together and it bled fine. its a two person job. my brother helped pump the pedal and keep the reservoir filled while I used the hand vac. mission accomplished
