Headlight swap

Greetings all
I'm sure this topic has been answered before, but I'm a bit thick so here's the thing:
I'm thinking of swapping the H1/H3 headlight on my 96 Traveller to an "old-fashioned" H4 unit.
Is this at all possible, and how do I connect/alter the wiring?
All suggestions welcome

Intrested also - I'm in the US and want to switch the other way around ( H4 to H1/H3) on my Replica. I really like the "look" of the Euro headlight vs. the US Spec. I do think you'll need to cut into the wiring harness unless you can facricate a pig tail into the existing light plug.

Don't worry I don't plan on riding the Replica at night very often - that what may Sport is for.

Too bad we are so far apart or we could just make a 1/1 swap.
I have'nt checked, but I'm sure the postage and maybe customs regulations would make the project pretty expensive?
