Hi all,
I stumbled upon this site while doing some research for a bike I have. It's a Skorpion Sport from 94 with some accident damage.
From what I can see after a quick look, most of the damage is on the front left side. Upper fairing is cracked, but nothing some plastic welding could fix. I don't know if the forks are damaged, still have to check those.
The part that worries me most is the upper fairing bracket which also holds the headlight.
It's a frame build up from tubes. It is severely bent and on the left side one of the tubes is kinked. Trying to bend it back could break it. I guess it's going to be very difficult to get that frame back in the right shape.
I prefer to replace it instead of mucking around with the damaged part.
Is that part specific made for the Skorpion, or has it been borrowed from another bike? (like more of the parts on the Skorpion)
Is it possible to put another head light unit on the bike, without too many difficulties?
Just looking at some possibilities to get the bike back on the road.
I've been searching this forum for information regarding replacement parts but couldn't really find anything related.
Anybody ever had to replace that bracket, or have any other ideas?
