News not good, bike is a CAT B, so will have to be destroyed.
So after spending time and money modding it and £2000 on the engine I am unlikley to get what it's worth.
I may have lost my way but I'm way ahead of schedule

Hi,

A quick update on my situation - I've just been down the local nick and provided a victim statement. The boys in blue have just apprehended a local scumbag with form. Seems they have some CCTV footage of him breaking into a nearby garage, and he was spotted yesterday riding a motorbike (whilst disqualified!). They've got him in a cell, and are trying to see if he'll 'fess up!. The copper who saw him on the bike is not on duty at present, so I'll have to wait till later today to see if he recognises my bike. I'm really glad that the Baggy is so distinctive. I left them a photo of a Baggy, and pointed out that there are just 2 in the whole of Bristol. Now I guess I have to wait..... When they arrested him this morning there was no sign of a bike, but he's probably got it in a mate's garage.

In the meantime I've had to go and buy a grotty little scooter (oh the shame of it....). They won't get this though. I just fitted this lock to the workshop door: http://www.kaspsecurity.com/Product-Cat ... curity.htm

It's the dog's danglies! Sold as a van lock, but work on any flush fit door.

No word from plod, so I guess its a dead end. Nice chap from the insurance company just phoned and offered me some money, which I readily accepted. Now looking for a new ride. Anyone got any thoughts about CCM and their bikes. I like the look of this monster:

Compare the power-to-weight ratio to that of the Baggy. :-)
