clutch cable routing...

the arm is the lever on the out side of the case and seldom goes bad unless damaged in a wreck..

there may be a problem in side with the clutch basket

the clutches set in the basket and rub against the lip of basket this edge over time can become worn and ruff.

see picture red lines mark ware points

have re- routed the cable as per the pictures that were kindly posted on this thread, and it does seem a tad freeer...have been out on it yesterday and today and think i can put up with it until i drain the oil in a few weeks time... maybe i will get used to it... after riding my scooter for so long with such an easy clutch...

the clutch pull on my rotax powered Saxon Tour is so hard it pulls the brass end fitting on the lever
end out of round
then it binds up and breaks the cable
usually in rush hour traffic
