Who supplies the cushdrives for the Baghira? Are they from MZ or are they from Yamaha?
What would be the penalty of not using a cushdrive?

Lack of a cush drive combined with a lot of road riding can cause transmission problems. Street bike have cush drive/ dirt bikes no cush drive.

the whole hub is from an XT, the sprocket carrier with rubbers is around $115.00 US.
I wish I would have known, I gave my 1993 XT600EE to my Bro, he rode it till it threw a rod, then scrapped it without asking me. it had an Acerbis 7 gallon tank, real nice skid plate, a few cool items that were very hard to get in the states.
