fitted a rev gauge to their baggi? I just wonder becuase a month or two back I rev'd it hard on the bypass and it cut out...I realise that this was probably due to the bike cutting out since I was redline it...

Yes, i purchased a small tacho from M & P and bolted it to my to my top yolk. It is 2 inch dia with a 0 -- 7000 range and is connected to the + side of the coil and works a treat. There is a picture on this forum if you search for "tachometer" in one of my posts you will find it..

Thats the one, just make sure that it is the correct one they send you as i had to return mine twice as they sent me a 0-- 16k which was no good and also a gear driven one which again was no good. Also check that it will do a single cylinder engine.

PS - did you see the pic from my original post, i just drilled a hole through the top yolk at a position that cleared the webbing inside the yolk.
