Once again I am looking for some help or advice, I think the rear brake cylender has blown ... this is the grey metal part that the foot brake connects to to pump the fluid to the rear caliper. It is leaking slightly and wont pump the fluid to the caliper. I have disconnected the brake hose at the caliper end and its justs spits a little but does not have a continued pump of fliud. Are these able to be fixed or where would I get one from ? or what boke is this part compatable with ?
Just had it MOT 'd and taxed but now cant ride it ....................................

since you have separated the brake line you will probably have air in the system and that will give poor results,i usualy put a syringe on the bleed nipple at the caliper and push new fluid back up to master cylinder, a lot easier than pumping at the lever end i find.start with an empty system first and you should see the level in the resevoir easily.
where does the leak appear to be from?

Hey up mate the leak seems to be coming from the bottom of the rear brake cylinder and running down the bar that connects to the back brake peddle ... the fluid does even go don the brake line so I guess the cylinder is crackered !!! just wondered if you can get repair kits or do I have to buy a new one ? maybe its the same as other bikes so I can look on e-bay ? if the fluid is coming out of the bottom of master cylinder, where pushrod fits, possible the seal has failed,i assume that pressing the pedal causes more fluid to leak by as well.
there was a complete rear brake system on ebay recently, about £20 i think.
