Anyone else find the Baggi brake pedal too small. I've lost count of the number of times I've missed it, and ended up panic braking Any solutions out there? I notice the actual serrated part of the pedal unbolts. Any bigger or better replacements?
hi and welcome to the site,i had the same thoughts once, but never got round to doing anything the fact the serrated bit comes off makes the job easier than finding a complete pedal i suppose.if you manage something then a pic may be handy for others, good luck
Interesting... Mine got replaced with a bolt and a rubber sleeve that looks the same as the shift lever. Other than that it is a quarter inch wider than the shift levers rubber sleeve. The total width being one and one half inches wide. OMC
Too small?? The serrated bit that you press down on broke off my bike some time ago. Never even noticed until I was cleaning the bike. My foot just happens to find the lever just fine. One of these days i'll replace it but it isn't high on the priorities since I never even noticed it was missing!
The previous owner of my Baghira must have done something drastic because when I received the bike the little bolt on piece was "smeared" severely making it quite difficult to even get at the nut holding it on. I've hammered out the part and upgraded the bolt and nut but I am still working on an aluminum replacement. I'm considering something machined to brace itself along the shaft with a nice beefy fastener holding it. I'm toying with the idea of a flat aluminum surface with a several small threaded studs for traction. My other idea is a knurled cylinder. If I come up with something I'll post
