I've a 01 plate Baggy , my engine breather coming from the left hand side of the motor towards
the back under the starter area, as come off at the other end there's what looks like a spring in the end.
and it as a compresion clip around it so it's come free from somewhere,
as strange as it seems (to me anyhow) it looks like it as been fitted to the carb breather the large bore shiny "alloy" pipe from the side of the right hand carb(as ya sat on it) could this be feasable? as My mastiff the carb breather had a big type filter thing and was routed toward the top of the engine

thanks Chaps

Hi I'd already read that one Alun, i'd even posted in it before I got this Baggy, it just seemed strange to me that the engine breather would be attached to the carbs?? I know a lot of bikes vent the engine to the airbox, I was ganna put one of those K+N type to the Carb i suppose I'll just take my plastics off and see if there's a spigot on the airbox for the engine breather,
cheers forthe link Al

hi,

yeah, i dont think it is in fact an engine breather, more like an open airway for the diaphragm on the carb. nearside, the false carb. the one withouit the float bowl...

anyone else care to correct me on this ?

Alun
