side stand switch

Postby handsomejackuk » Tue Jun 09, 2009 5:16 pm

Hi,

Almost had an incident today, drove off with my side stand down. heard a scraping noise and flicked it up. When i got home, check it out, and the wires were bare going to the switch, what i did was seperate the wires and it works again, seemed to me as though there must have been a bit of current through the switch wires as wires seem very stiff. does anyone know if i can get a replacement switch, complete with the loom, as it seems as though the wires are encapsulated in the switch ?

anyone else had this problem ?

Isnt that switch a standard microswitch type, something out of Honeywell lineup?

Just fab up a loom that fits and your good.
