Does anyone know of an aftermarked replacement rear light unit for Skorpion Sport - the original has shook itself to bits and the lens screw lugs have snapped.
Just a lens would surfice
If no aftermarket part is available off to Grahams i go

cog belt 2 valve Ducatis (750 & 900SS) have the same taillight.
Over here, almost all mount some sort of diode tail light when the original disintegrates. Check out any of the after market suppliers such as Louis or Hein Gericke.
These are from Gericke, so-called "chopper" lights:

A good alternative is one of the non-specific round or oval tail light found on many pickups and trailors. Since the above picture, I have gone over to this one from Hella:

This one is a straight forward, all metal unit of high quality - a real threaded screw going into threaded mount holds the lens! - with two separate bulbs. The filament is no where near as long as in the twin filament bulbs of the OEM lights and lasts nuch longer. The same basic lamp is also available in round.

Bill,

On the bike with the Hella lamp, what brand is that rear tyre?

Cheers.

Trans: " A soft compound for smaller super motos... Also for every weather condition."

This silica compound tire does not have a street rating and is illegal for street use - which doesn't bother me in the least.
I am quite impressed with it. Extremely neutral and bicycle-like handling, good in the rain as one would expect. In the picture of the taillight, is the tire with over 2000kms. I'm sure it willhold up as well as a BT090. I bought it because I definitely want a 130 tire on the back and the range of choice is not very large. I have been using the BT45 which is fine but this one intrigued me.
The same tire is also available for street use in a harder compound:

David / Bill - Thanks for input,
Bill, Your use of aftermarket lights has spured me to do the same, M&P 20mins down the road so will venture their way
Also drilled out the petcock 1/2 mm as per one of your old posts, my bike was spluttering, it was a very hot day I had the throttle flat open for about 10miles - i assume it was a fuel problem as it has a new iridium plug and hope it is not the electrics. Had really heavy rain since so not had chance to try to see if fault still there.
Thanks again
