Well, first you should have where you're located.I saw your post but my guess is you are not in North America.
If I thought you were I would have offered to sell you what you need as I have a spare set but would cost a whole LOT of $$$ to ship overseas.
Also if you search there are several post for what you are looking for, good luck.

I converted from 21/ 18 to 17 front/ rear, so I have all the bits for your conversion.
Will swap you for your 17" front wheel.

Hi,
Thanks for the offer, what sort of money do you want for the two wheels ? do they come with disks ? can i use my original spindle ? Was looking to keep my supermoto wheels as well as wanted to convert to 21/18 for winter use, or bit of green laning....
Do you have any pics of wheels
Al.

I can't help with the wheel swapping but I do know that you'll have a hard time finding proper dirt tires in 17" size. It can and has been done. Some folks even run rear tires backwards on the front b/c there's more options available. I have a Skorpion Tour that I take on gravel roads so I did lots of research looking for a dual sport 17" tire set. Ended up going with an Anakee on the rear and a Distanzia on the front, both 17". I have had good reults all around and plan to run the same set up when they are gone. (possibly a Distanzia on the rear). Just have to stay away from mud!
I also have an XT with 21" / 18" set up for dirt. There is a big difference in how a 17" front handles off road situations than a 21". A 17 is short/wide and tends to "drift" in sand/loose dirt. Also the short wheel will dip into holes, trenches etc. A 21" goes over those holes. Also, it will dig into sand and give you traction. There's a reason why baja bikes have 21" wheels. Not saying you can't hit the .... .what's the expression "green laning" with a 17". Just get used to the feel of it. Also, the 21" will be slower turning on pavment, BUT can still carve a line with the best of them.
Good luck!
