Fixin up my Skorpion
Posted: Mon Apr 26, 2010 9:19 amHey guys, been lurking for a while trying to get everything going for my new project. I'm trying to bring my Skorpion Replica back to glory. Last time I rode it, she went for 10 blocks and died. Think there was water in the tank and after that riding season passed, I put it away for when I had more time to spare. Anyways spring has sprung here in NY and I'm in the process of getting her working again. I took out the tank and carb and started cleaning it out. There was a mess in there: rust, gunk... Anyways I'll be posting pictures as I go along and maybe asking some questions in the process. It looks fairly simply taking it apart but I'm afraid I'll put everything back together and have a bucket of spare parts laying around. Anyways, here are some photos of the work so far I'll update when all the new parts come in.
