Just wondering if anyone had had the seat reshaped and made more comfortable?

Hi
I have a Corbin style seat on my Baggi. It's certainly comfier than the standard one but I haven't been out on it for a long trip yet. It was done by Dave at diggerseats.co.uk - check out his website. There are a couple of his seats on Baggis in the picture gallery on this site. One thing I have noticed is that I tend to get rolled forward a bit so it's specifying exactly what you want if you get him to build you one.
Cheers
Martin

Thanks Martin
Do you mind me asking what he charged you for the seat?
Thanks
Dave

Hi.I had mine reshaped last year.Wish I`d have done it years ago!The upholsterer basicaly cut out a large lump mainly at the front, and replaced it with a much larger lump of much denser `chip foam`and reshaped it so the top surface is all the same height-a la KTM.No more discomfort for the family jewels! The seat height is increased, although this is on a Mastiff, and i`m 6ft.It took him about 2 hours with the recovering(and it is a difficult shape)and cost me £100.

Digger seats wants £125 + P&P. I've emaield Lee at Viking Vinyls
http://www.vikingvinyl.co.uk/ to see what he'll charge and will updatethe post once I've had a reply. Difficult to usea phoen here at work but if I can sneak a moment i'll ring Tony Archer
http://www.tonyarcher.co.uk/index.html for a quote too.
I expect they'll all be around the same price but it'll be handy for anyone usiing the archives to find a list of contacts and prices etc.

VikingVinyls said thus, the seat in question was a corbin style with basket weave etc.
Hi Dave,
to turn your seat into the one in the picture would cost £185.
this price would include both gel & memory foam inserts. (the top price you could pay for that job)
many thanks for your enquiry.
