Where to start?

Earlier this summer, I got a call from my brother that the Panther he purchased from me was dead. It turns out that he went for a ride and when he took a break, he forgot to turn the light off (left the key in the ignition) which killed the battery. While trying to get the bike started again, he tried hooking up a set of jumper cables from a friends car to his battery. The problem is that he managed to hook up the cables backwards to the Panther battery (+ to - and - to +). Long story short, the Panther would not turn over and the bike had to be trailered back to my shop.

After I got the bike back, the first thing I did was get a new battery for the bike. I also checked the fuse box under the seat and noticed that the box took the hit and managed to pop some of the fuses while others were melted. I cleaned it up as best as I could, however I would like to replace it if possible. Anyone know where I can get a new one?

After cleaning the fuses, I was able to get the headlight to turn on, however if you push the start button, nothing happens. That said, any suggestions as to what I should check next?

starter relay is powered by a coil check coil in relay to see if it is stiil good
also 2 wires come from harness to it hook a small bulb there and press start button
lamp should come on if it does not then power is not getting from battery to start button
relay 19 or 30 in drawings is start inhibit relay if it is bad or some thing is not grounding the green
wire from it start will not work

I hooked my battery up backwards too, strangley te lights all worked ok, but I only hit the start button one time, which blew the main fuse, and the other large fuse, which I only noticed later when it was obvious that the battery wasn´t charging. I´d just make sure that all the fuses are definately ok.
