Replacing dash indicator bulbs

Hello, the high beam indicator light on my dash stopped working and I assumed the easiest thing to do would be to first check the bulb. Just spent an hour trying to get at the bulb itself :? . Anyone done this and can shed some light on how to get at the bulbs? Appreciate the help. Thanks.

UPDATE I
OK finally got at the bulbs. For anyone else trying this you have to disconnect the speedo cable at the cluster then remove two 10mm acorn nuts holding the speedo/tach cluster to its bracket. With a little twisting and turning you can get the indicator housing free and then it is a matter of removing 4 small screws that hold the indicator lights in the housing from underneath. The bulbs are held in rather tightly by rubber stoppers. Pull the stopper and you finally get to the bulb(s).

UPDATE II
Yup bulb was burnt out. Trip to PepBoys for Sylvania LL mini lamps... 1.4W (2 for $5) worked fine with adequate brightness. Got a foot of snow yesterday (bummer).

Baghira bulbs are also held in by rubber grommet fittings. Although you only have to take off the little headlight screen to get to them, don't have to remove dash at all.

I had to replace a couple of these bulbs as well...and found that "1.5 volt LL" doesn't cover *which* replacement..the local uto parts store had four visually identical bulbs but with different numbers and no specs on the pkg..anyway the proper number for Sylvania is 2721. The rubber boots are a bear to get out---put some silicone grease on them helps...then when next replacing you can just pull them out from below without unfastening anything.
