Skorpion at Road Atlanta

Well, Nick rode the Skorpion at RA this weekend. His first weekend without the rookie shirt on and he did pretty good. First practice out his best time was a 2:26 and by his final race Sunday he was down to 2:03. As always the bike ran perfect. Which brings me to a semi-sad anouncement....looks like she is for sale. Not trying real hard just yet, but he wants to move to an SV. So if your interested send me a PM. Like I said, the bike runs perfect. Need to get $1500 out of her.

He's got the "bug" for sure..."I need more speed"...
Too bad the Singles classes have "gone away"...he'd have a good chance on a level playing field.

You all coming back to Nashville this fall?

Yeah Bill, that's pretty much where he is at right now. All the bikes he is up against destroy him in the straights....and RA sure has the straight!

We could build it up to get more HP but for the money it is way easier to sell it and get an SV that is already prepped. Plus this is the perfect entry-level bike for someone looking to get into the sport. It doesn't intimidate you right away and makes you work on your corner speed. So I don't want to mess up what could be a good thing for another wanna be racer.

One way or another we will be back at Nashville. He might have a new bike or he will still be on the MZ there. Actually Nashville is a great track for the MZ because the backside is so tight. With what he has learned he would do much better there now.

In the meantime, why not put a fairing on it,at least it wouldn't be a brick going through the air on the straights..Beasley has one that is inexpensive.....

Well, our MZ experience is over. Sold it today to a WERA racer from Nashville. Great guy and he's real excited to have it. So she'll still be on the track. Had a great time and it was a fantastic machine. I will still own a Replica one day. It's been fun guys.

It's SV time for us now.
