Baghira starter button not working

The good news, is that this is fixed, but I'm posting in case someone else gets the problem, it could save a lot of time.
I use the bike weekly, if i can, but it's been laid up for 6 weeks. The weekend before last I went on a long weekend riding holiday, and notched up just over a 1000kms. Fabulous! The first day was in mainly heavy rain, the last 3 were dry, and she never missed a beat all weekend.
Last weekend I washed her off, and checked her over before garaging her, but not before I had gone for a run to dry her off. All was well.
When I came to go for a spin this weekend, the starter was completely dead, no click no dimming of the lights, nothing at all. All the other electrics were fine, and she started straight away from a bump start. After a quick 60 miles, I parked her up again, and the starter button was still not working.
Browsing on here had me all ready to check the starter motor and relay, and the switchgear, but as I couldn't even see the two stater motor wires, I couldn't short them. Oh well. The indicator switch benifited from a strip and clean a few months ago, so I started with the RH switchgear.
It is just as fiddly as the left hand switchgear, minus the spring loaded ball bearing, but I would still suggest having clean rags spread underneath the bike to catch any bits you drop. The two contacts were very mildly corroded, so I polished them up, lubed up with WD40 and re-assembled. Bingo, fired first time.
A nice easy fix.
