Hi Group!
Just a thought,seeing as how there are so many options for the Skorp/Baggie carbs (from Fcr's to single or dual Mikuni's)I was thinking that a good mod for the stock carbs maybe the addition of a Raptor
carb spacer..this would I believe enhance the mid range torque a bit..they advertise a 3hp increase on the Rpator.....should also be a direct fit and adaptable to dual tm 34-b65 carb set ups too..
Anyone try this yet?

hummm , i was pondering on the same question..Why the interest in removing the twin carbs for a single one,Im old skool and remember the days when the best upgrade (on a car) at least) was to swap out the single carb for a twin , so couldnt you get better increase buy adding an identical carb instead of the odd one ( odd looking one on the right ), someone explain to me why two 38mm wouldnt be cool.

Adding two identical 38mm would be overkill with a stock motor...twin FCR 39's are trick but very pricey!!! On a near stock motor wouldn't work too well...
A large single such as a 41 or HSR42 gives great torque increase ...my point is just to inexpensively optimize what's already there...using the carb kit by Tunebike.de
and the spacer for the Raptor I think would be about optimum for the stock carbs...Bill J has said that the stockers work ok up to about 70hp,although the throttle response is
not as good as flatslides...guess it really all depends on available funds and how the bike is driven...the mikuni 34-b65 is a great upgrade but is too expensive for a cheap(poor)
person such as me,,,besides here in the states,not too easy to come by .....

I looked on a Raptor forum about the spacer, and there were people that said they thought it helped a little. Others said they couldn't tell a difference. On a Baghira at least, you don't have enough room.

On a Baggie you'd most likley have to shorten the air box tubes i guess.
