Compression ratios
Posted: Sun Sep 25, 2011 3:20 pmCan someone tell me the stock compression ratio of the Baghira? I did a search, but couldn't find anything. Also, what is the highest ratio you can run on 93 octane pump gas? I have seen Wiseco 11:1 forged pistons, and also as low as 9.2:1. I thought I had read somewhere our engine was only around 8:1, but couldn't find it again.
Would a stage 1 cam affect your maximum pump gas CR? I was going to get the big bore cylinder kit, but with reading on the Raptor forum, most people say the power gains are from the higher CR, and only about 3 Hp from the larger bore. It seems a piston and stage 1 cam would make a noticable difference in power, still be reliable, and less work.
