MZ/MuZ Riders

Hello,
while out on my Baggi yesterday I got a flat tyre, it turned out to be a loose spoke which I nipped up. I looked over the wheel for other leaks and found a small nail but also with the help of washing up liquid, air coming from a number of spokes, where they meet the rim.
The tyres that are on the bike are tubeless Avons. This seems a bit strange on spoked wheels but I've never had a bike with spoked wheels before. I've tried to look at other posts and there is discussion about tubed tyres, rim tape, conversions etc.
Can anyone give me some advice on using tubeless tyres on spoked wheels and does this wheel need an overhaul etc. ???

i have always used tubes on spoke wheels except the
bmw rim where the spoke ends up in the lip of the rim outside the tire

my 1995 MZ Saxon Tour has alloy rims but needs tubes. the rim shoulder is not shaped for tubeless tire

there are some rubber sealers now that will seal the spoke but they need to be a flexible type seal
and not become totally hard
but make sure bead edge of rim and tube fit each other for tubeless use

I had a new tire installed today and the guy reused the tube (I would have preferred a new one) and it ended up getting a crease in it when he installed it and it started losing air. Had to have them pull the tire again and replace it.

At least they only charged me for the tube, not another $60 install.

I don't know what convention is, but I would install a new tube with a new tire.

How much I hope that wasn`t to a loose wheel.

They put a crease in the tube when they installed it. They didn't charge me to R&R the wheel. He just pulled it and installed a tube for me ($15ish)

i always did my own on the tube type
but the rt125 and traveller i had a shop do them
as i had big time problems doing the tubeless ones on the rt125
and will not ware out enough tires to cover the expense of a tire machine
in the future

I can't afford any more toys! haha.

I don't mind paying for hard stuff to be done, but carb cleaning, and such is doable.

I ordered a baghira/mastiff 15/50 sprocket set from germany and a DID X-Ring chain from the US. Have to hunt a install guide. I guess I just pull the rear tire and that cover off of the front sprocket. I hope it's not too hard!
