vac hose? 3YF vac hose question

vac hose? 3YF vac hose question

In front of the left side carb I have a small hose coming up that has been plugged for some reason. Any idea if that was suppose to go somewhere? Maybe it's just some option.

I suspect its one of two things, either a take off point for a carb balancer, or part of a "clean air" system

If your talking about the hose that comes vertically out of the manifold, in front of the left carb, mine has been blocked off also as the emissions canister has been removed.
The line closest to where the fuel supply line enters the left carb, that connects to a tee and on to the ignition.
