hi would anyone know if these would be the fork seals i need for my 2003 standard height baghira

are these easy to replace is there any istructions on how to change them. i have never done fork seals before but usually do all my own bike maintenance...

also what weight oil would i need to use...

please advise...

No experience on the oil weight.

I found the same parts numbers that you posted also by nopantsflyer: (Searching) Interchangable part list, on 5-25-08.

The shop manual is only for the engine...

Here are the pictures provided in the parts list.
Yeah, I know... after the video that you posted I'm a slug... ( slug /snail ), this side of the pond it's all the same...
Figure the part numbers might help with parts purchase.

thanks all.... its just a bit annoying... i am a member of another forum scooter... and the replies on there are almost instant.... i realise that its not checked so often nowadays as the bikes are getting a bit thin on the ground..

my local bike shop had a search this morning and found a set of 45 58 11 seals he said i could have for £12... so will try today to get the forks off and remove tha seals..

No don't order those, I've just done mine. When I phoned up Marzocchi the guy there said they have just bought out some more advanced/updated seals that aren't on the website, phone them up and ask for the new 45x58x11 seals explaining they are for a bike and they will put you through to the right department. I installed mine a couple of days ago with no problems, all very simple to do. Don't hesitate to give me a shout if you are stuck with something, I'll try and get on here a bit more often!

p.s I put 10w fork oil in mine to help stop them being so squishy! (and you'll need a spanner/adjustable big enough to undo the 36mm nut on the top of your stanchions).

got the right side leg brake caliper side all apart, and got the seal out to inspect... have ordered the seals... should be with me in a few days... this will give me time to rub the forks legs down and give them a nice new coat of painty,,,... any advice on reassembly would be useful..

i have not removed the stanchions off the bike as yet.. but dropped the legs, and undone the top nut to remove the damper cartidege... is there any need to remove the stanchions ?

or do i need to remove the stanchions to get an accurate fill of oily...

135mm i believe this to be... what is the best way to fill measure the oil i have steel rule and celipers... here... is this doen with springs and damper in or without. ?

unless you want to drop the bike right down on it's front end on assembly i would refit stanchions off of the bike (you have to push the stanchions into the legs far enough to allow you to pull up the dampers and rescrew on the top nuts/adjusters) after filling with oil that is! Don't worry about the measurement from the top of the oil just fill each leg with 580ml of oil, Grahams motorcycles worked the amount out. I was advised to get the newer seals, they are the same price! Hope all goes well for you bud.

yeah i got the one side all off cleaned and sorted. just have a problem with the damper allen bolt on the bottom of the other fork... its real tight... i think i may even have rounded off the head...

have it turned upside down in my shed and filled it with penetrating fluid.. hoping i can get a good 8mm allen key bit to get it off tomorrow... most of my allen keys are worn.. so need a real good quality one and should be sorted if not will have to hammer a spline bit in there to get the bolt out...the heads are real shallow.. and the bolts are made of soft cheese.. i going to replace them with something a bit better...

when you filled with oil did you put the springs in ?

i used an air ratchet or you can use a battery drill on hammer action to shock the allen bolts loose,as for seals i used the ones supplied by grahams on my spare full height forks.
