Travelling on a Traveller

Just back from an 11 day, 2028 mile/ 3264 km trip to France on my Skorpion Traveller. I'd gone with some friends to the Coupes Moto Legénde motorcycle event, then onto the Alps and back. I kept a daily blog with links to photos, starting here: http://youcanttouronasingle.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/france-day-1.html
The Coupes Moto Legénde is a HUGE event with thousands of bikes, many taken out on the track, and ridden by such riders as Phil Read, Giacomo Agostini, Jim Redman and others. There are also club stands, trade stalls, and in the region of 20,000 visitors. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. See: http://www.coupes-moto-legende.fr/
Traveller made a very good tourer, fast enough, comfortable, and fairly economical. Here are a couple of photos, and there are plenty more linked from my blog.
