Caliper bolts

I recently bought a front caliper off an Aprillia AF1 to replace the Grimeca on the Skorpion. Unfortunately the Apprilia mounting bolts are M8 whereas the MZ's are M10. Wondering whether to drill & tap the caliper or get a couple of step bolts made up. I'm wary of drilling as I don't think there would be enough meat left on the mount. Failing that bin it & keep the good pads as the caliper only cost £15. Any thoughts?

the pads don't fit either. It is not the same caliper at all. Sell it again and get the right one.

Thanks for the answers. Missed a Mito one by a whisker hence the Aprilia which in all fairness looked very much the same. Hey ho ! you live and learn.
