rearsets

I really like the Gilles rearsets, but the total cost of them, once they make it all the way to the US, is just out of reach of my wallet. I'm making up a custom set based on these:

..with the top of the adjustment range at just about the lowest/most forward of the standard Skorpion Sport adjustment range, and they'll have the capability of moving around maybe +-25mm all around that area. Rather than making up my own bracket I could try to get Motobits to make up a set specific to the MZ, if there were interest...anyone looking for an excellent no frills racing rearset for their Skorp?

The Motobits stuff is very solid and high quality, but basic - only the footpegs are anodized, for example; the rest you need to paint/polish on your own. Like the Gilles stuff you can buy any individual replacement part you want.

I'd guess the price would be 299.95, complete.

Sam,

Any luck with the motobits? I not sure gilles is still making rear sets and I like the motobits option. Thanks Mark

Please contact Jack at Axljak Racing as he was making them for Galen Miller at Bikeworx's. Although not listed on his sight I am confident that he can fill your order. He's located in MA.

I've just fitted new rearsets as part of my project bike, used Yamaha TRX 850 as my basis and look great. Also reckon a set from a Yamaher Fazer would be even better. Only slight mods required.

Sorry I dropped of the face of the earth there.....no, I never got any interest, so I didn't pursue it. I have a couple of sets of Motobits rearsets that eventually I'll make some one off brackets for, but nothing bolt on.
