how easy / difficult is it to take the swinging arm off a Mastiff ?
I had the cushdrive bearing collapse and the sprocket fixing bolt heads have cut a goove in the swinging arm :( :( :x
any advice would help.

If you posted the link to the first page of the stripdown, you'll notice that I recommend you do exactly that ...............

hi its not that difficult mate

Get a motorcycle lift and jack d bike up till the rear is just off the ground.

Soak the Nuts and Bolts connecting the swinging arm, dog bones and rear shock in a releasing fluid with a high creep capacity (something like WD-40)
Undo the wheel and rear brake.
Slide d wheel forward till u have enough clearance to slip off the chain and remove the wheel.
Undo the dog bones and tap our the retaining bolts
Undo the rear shock's bottom mount and tap out the bolt
Undo the main swinging arm retaining bolt and tap it out from right to left (looking at it from rear)

It's a good idea to check and replace bearings if needed at this stage as the needle bearings used are not of the best quality imaginable and have a habit of falling out.

Re-assembly is the reverse of the above !

Hope it helps mate !
