Haven't been posting lately,but thought I would share an improvement with the Skorpion clan.
I have for a long time been looking to rid the front Grimeca caliper from my Skorpion,and install a Brembo .
Well having scoured the web and evilbay etc,I did find a caliper for a Cagiva Mito...gold Brembo,(Last winter) FINALLY installed it yesterday and teseted it today...
WOW what an improvement over the jerky on-off Grimcrapper...very progressive and smooth...well worth it..using EBC Green pads by thr way..
I picked it up in UK when the wife was there..$50 I thinkk.....
Bleeding and flushing was accomplished using a reverse flush method with a syringe(60ml)through the bleed screw on the caliper..works very nice..
check for video online...
The Mito caliper is a direct fit by the way,I just used the Grimeca mounting bolts...perfect fit

Cool. Did you replace the master cylinder as well and was it at the same time? I replaced my Grimeca master cyl with a Brembo while keeping the stock caliper and noticed the same improvement. It's very linear now. I'm wondering what will happen when I do get around to replacing the caliper.

No,master cylinder is next...I'll follow Bill J's recommendation, I know the Nissan M/C also works well on a variety of bikes..12-13mm should be fine....

I fitted both the master cylinder and caliper from a Cagiva Mito to my Traveller. I bought them on Ebay UK for about £20 (c. $30), cleaned them up, fitted a new hose and bolts, and an adjustable lever from a Ducati 916. Much smoother in operation and the adjustable lever allows you to set the span to the size of your hand. Everything bolted straight on without any problems. I replaced the 'pin and circlip' pad retention with a screw and nyloc nut, this passes the fairly strict British annual safety inspection (MOT).
