bouncy front end after fork rebuild

Dunno if its my imagination.. but have been out with my daughter on the back today, and suspension seems like bouncy... what would the cause of this be doesnt seem as bad when its just me...
what do the two adjusters on top of the forks actually do ?
i know its compression and rebound but how can i adjust out the bounciness

Does it have the correct type/amount of fluid?
was reassemble the reverse of disassembly?

Daughter on the back won`t help, what was the fork oil weight before and after rebuild? Lighter oil more bounce. Adjusters are for compression L and rebound R fully clockwise max 14 clicks, factory setting is 7 clicks. I find the front a bit bouncy, no idea what oil is in mine but BMW is telelever front end and has hardly any dip during braking so that doesn`t help when switching from one to the other.

didd use a heavier oil as the 15 weight was hard to get hold of used 20 wt oil.. was reassembled in the same order as taken apart... i give it another try tomorrow... and play around with the twiddlers on top of the leg... maybe i can get it betterer then...

seem to recall pumping chambers to prime them on full height forks before final assembly,did you go by quantity or measure from top of leg to set to set fluid level??

measured down the oil level and pumped the damper rod up and down so pretty sure the levels are good..
i will try it again today... i dont really want to pull them orff again. no worries thanks..
