Need front chainguard mount (and chainguard)

Postby Tigerboy » Sun Sep 23, 2012 1:47 pm

When I got home from a 600 mile trip within W.Va, I notice the front chainguard mount had fallen off, leaving my chainguard dangling(already broken due to my chain snapping on a previous trip).

Problem is, now I can't remember what the front chainguard mount is supposed to look like, I have no photos of the sort, and therefore I need help from fellow Baghira owners to tell me what it looks like. There are no MZ dealers around anymore, so I don't know where I can find spares, but if it's something matching another bike, then I can obtain it.

For now, I'll have to ride w/o a chain guard. Don't want to, hope it doesn't cause any other problem.

I repaired my existing chainguard with duct tape and I'd like to replace that as well.

Thanks. Not 100% sure, but it looks like a L-shaped piece, and the chainguard bolt goes between the chain and swingarm.

I'll print out the photo and take it down to my favorite motorcycle dealer. Hopefully that will be enough. Otherwise I'll have to ride w/o a chainguard until the right MZ part comes along.
