Hi,
This may be the first winter where I haven't a 2T to run over the winter which means the Skorpion may have to do the hack work. Anyone recommend a grippy tready winter tyre? I am currently running BT45 but thought something with a bit of tread wouldn't hurt.

thanks

I use Cougar tyres all year round on my Kawasaki ER5 and Bmw R100 GP12 on front. GP11 on rear. Cheap too.

Would a 130/70-17 fit a standard rim? I currently run 140/70-17

It should fit, but its a fair bit narrower than the 140/70. Just ensure that the front tyre is not to wide, as this will adversly effect your handling. The attached chart may be of help.
