Spoke wheels

Postby kato » Wed Feb 27, 2013 3:40 am

Greetings all
I'm trying to convert my 96' Skorpion Traveller to a kind of café racer and I was wondering if the spoke wheels from a Mastiff will fit without too much fuss?

Hello,

My 01 Traveller is also in the middle of a cafe build. I've been lurking around here for a while now and have yet to hear of any wheels that are bolt in replacements for the lead Skorpion wheels. If you can wait a few more months I'll tell you exactly how to get a set of Talon hubs from an XR650 Supermoto, or something like that, to fit your bike. Hell, I may even offer a spacer kit after it's all said and done.

As far as I can work out spoked wheels from the CCM R30 fit as they also run on grimeca (Skorpion ) cast wheels too. I bought a pair of MZ sm125 spoked wheels on chance but they are quite a lot different and run on thinner axles. I was planning to fit some on my sport to retro it last year but life commitments seem to get the better! Eric
